Welcome to CBT Systems online learning environment. This Aeroscience Aviation Theory course is delivered in partnership with TAFE Queensland (RTO 0275). You have been enrolled in Aeroscience Aviation Theory 1 (NONAC03203); If you’re new please see the below information to help you get started.

Learn the aviation basics

This course is completely self-directed, comprising of easy-to-understand tutorial videos, quizzes, and assessments, allowing you to study at a time and pace that suits you. 
We recommended dedicating a minimum of five (5) hours per week to your studies.  

To get started

  • Register on the website by selecting Login (top right of screen) and follow the instructions.
  • Setup your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) - the Microsoft MFA APP is recommended.
  • Contact the Aviation Team (below) confirming your login. They will then assign your subject and reply to you. You can then...
  • Click on your Dashboard - on the menu bar.
    Your Dashboard gives you access to the subjects you are enrolled in.
  • Select your first subject – Aerodynamics.
  • From there, you can begin your studies. Please read the instructions and helpful tips for your subject before you begin.
  • Each subject consists of a series of videos and quizzes. You will be required to complete a final quiz before you can move on to the next subject.
  • Our friendly team will enrol you in each of your subjects on successful completion of the previous subject.
  • Upon successful completion of all four subjects of Module 1 you will be issued a Statement of Participation. Our team will be in touch to progress your enrolment in Aeroscience Aviation Theory 2 (NONAC03204).
  • Once you have successfully completed all four subjects in Module 2, and awarded a Statement of Participation you will have successfully completed the full Aeroscience Aviation Theory course.

Delivery

This course consists of two (2) modules, each with four (4) subjects. Students must successfully complete Module 1 before enrolling in Module 2.

Commercial Pilot training

If you want to work as a pilot in Australia you require an Australian commercial pilot's licence issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). To apply, you'll need to complete the required training at a registered training organisation, complete extensive flying experience, and pass a series of examinations.
